Kristina Folkerts, a server at the Park Tavern in St Louis Park MN, has been identified as one of the victims killed in the recent deadly crash.
Folkerts, a mother-of-three, died when the driver of a vehicle, Steven Frane Bailey, lost control and drove into the patio of the establishment.
Bailey, 56, was arrested following the crash and booked into Hennepin County Jail on probable cause criminal vehicular homicide.
One other person, now identified as an intensive care coordinator at Methodist Hospital was also killed.
“He worked his way up to being an ICU nurse, and he’s one of the best at it. He’s a great, kind human being, awesome with patients, and awesome with their families,” said Dr. Thomas Stark of Methodist Hospital.
Four other nurses from the hospital who were celebrating the final shift of a departing co-worker were also injured.
