Two people were killed after a deadly collision Monday on Highway 85 near the Highway 87 interchange in San Jose.
Duncan McQuarrie, 39, of Orlando, Florida, was driving a Toyota pickup truck traveling the wrong way when it ran head-on into a Tesla.
The occupants of the Tesla, a 47-year-old woman and a 14-year-old boy, both from San Jose, were pronounced dead on the scene.
McQuarrie was taken to Hospital with major injuries.
According to NBC, McQuarrie has a lengthy arrest record. It shows among other run-ins with the law, he was cited earlier this year for driving without a license, for possession of cocaine in 2021 and drunk driving in 2013.
