Sad news has hit the music world following the reported death of Brandon Reynolds, an executive with Maverick City Music and Tribl Records.

Brandon Reynolds was not only a music executive but a musician, preacher and all around good-guy, according to those who knew him.

In a somber post on Facebook, Maverick City Music announced the passing of Reynolds, who they described as an indispensable asset to their organization.

He was eulogized for his incredible work behind the scenes which contributed to the success of the group.

Maverick City Music said Reynolds was a secret hero who embodied every facet of their ethos as a company.

He was praised for working tirelessly for the company’s success and elevating everyone he worked with through his hard work and disciplined nature.

His legacy and memory will forever resonate within the core of our heart. As we mourn our profound loss, we extend our deepest condolences to the Reynolds family. Please keep both the family and our team in your prayers during this difficult time,” Maverick City Music said in their tribute.

Brandon, your love, service, and leadership were immeasurable. We are grateful for the time we had with you. Your impact is everlasting. – Your Mav and TRIBL Family ❤️” the post added.

Brandon’s brother, Blake Reynolds, also had a touching eulogy to share about him.

Sounding devastated over his brother’s death, Blake revealed that Brandon was a an ‘angel’ who lived a life of ‘authenticity and integrity’.

Blake revealed the huge part Brandon played in the success of Maverick City music, revealing he took charge of behind-the-scenes and logistic stuff that were not glamorous but indispensable to the successful operation of the company.

Brandon, Blake said, deserved more praise than most people alive but preferred to be private and do his work behind the shadows. He said all he wanted to do was to serve God and do things with excellence.

Blake added that every success he would enjoy in his life, he owes to his brother Brandon.

Brandon, was my brother, best friend, mentor, and closest confident. We were truly inseparable. Words cannot express how badly my heart hurts as no one knew how close we truly were. He loved his family with a fierce passion, didn’t matter how wrong you were, he was quick to defend you, would jump in-front of a bus, and give up his time to listen to you, pray with you, and encourage you,” he wrote.

Whenever anyone of note passes on, their legacy is revealed in the sort of praise they receive from those who knew them best.

It’s easy to spot polite praise for someone who hardly did anything of note but the sort of effusive eulogies of Reynolds out there show how much of a true mensch he was in life.

Brandon leaves behind a legacy of hard work, dedication, being a team player, and being an innovative member of a trailblazing company that brought the gospel genre to new heights.

He would be sorely missed.
